Behind the Scenes

Welcome to a one-off special feature, taking an exclusive 'behind the scenes' look at the preparations for the 2022 show.

The layouts and venue have been booked, and the final plans have been made. Now comes the big part; setting up the show completely, 24 hours before the doors are expected to be opened to the general public. As you can see, a great deal of planning, teamwork and cooperation is required to ensure the exhibition goes smoothly, and is enjoyed by the many punters coming from around the country. There are quite a lot of tasks to keep everyone busy, including the mapping out of the halls, moving and setting up the layouts, shifting tables and chairs, putting up safety barriers, and sorting out the PA system and power supplies. All of these jobs taking varying lengths of time to complete, and also involving much consumption of tea and coffee in the process!

The following pictures will give you some idea, as to the tasks involved. Also included, is a snap of the team behind the organisation of the show, to whom many thanks are extended for all their hard work in the organisation, and execution of the exhibition.
